I am a designer, creative strategist, and researcher born in Seoul, raised in California,
currently based in S.F.
Activated by inquiries rooted in liberation and autonomy,
my art and research practice focus on alternative appropriations
of digital tools and systems as forms of activism and resistance.
I find wonder in relation-mapping the "unlikely things"
that in turn become more personal through new abstractions.
I currently works as a designer at a civic tech nonprofit to make voting more accessible.
I am always looking for new collaborations and tinkering!
This website was handmade with love and is always in progress...

perspective of a 12 year old. I volunteered to make minimal book cover designs (what
I thought to be soooo modern and forward) on community forums for new writers and
published new chapters every week.
When I deleted my account in high school because I felt so cringe, I thought it was a
good thing to remove traces of myself that felt raw and undeveloped on the web. Now
I deeply regret removing this history of self. I am eager to build
intentional spaces to archive pieces of me digitally, hence your arrival, here.
I think this practice also includes sharing my writing, which I am trying to be better at.
This of course, includes my un(der)developed and un(der)articulated thoughts.
I currently share my writing on my substack, Schema Acquisition.
If you do end up reading it, I would love to hear your thoughts. I see numbers on the dashboard that tell me, oh, people are reading! Oh,
people are visiting! But no person rarely shares that they are actually reading so I am always left wondering on my own...!
Here are some things I am currently brewing:
